I have a pound of W231 and would like to try in my .41 mag. I'm looking for data that will push a 210gr SWC bullet around 1,000fps. Problem is I can't seem to find any data. Does anyone know where I can find some data or am I out of luck here?

8.0-8.5 will get you close depending on bbl length.
8.6 is max with a jaxketed bullet.

Little hot for the recoil desired. Start with 7.0 grains using the large pistol primer. ... felix

If you don't insist on 1000 fps, 6.0 grains makes a very accurate load with a good 210 gr. cast boolit.

Thanks for the help fellas'. If 1,000fps is asking to much with this powder I'd be just fine with .41 SPL velocities. Does anyone have a Minimum and maximum load data then?

Add 2 grains to any 38 special load using 231 with nominal boolit (150-160 .. 357). Something like 5.0-7.5 for a 41 special load. ... felix
