I know shell holders for a Model A are longer than for a Universal III....

Is there other Model specific Hollywood shell holders?

Still looking for a Super Turret & don't care if it's aluminum....

I thinl all Super Turrets are Aluminum on the frame. I don't know what a model A is, but I use the same shell holders on a Universal 3 and a Senior Turret.

Yea I was sort of kidding about the Super Turret, but I have read that they did make a steel one but I have never seen one....

The Model A https://picasaweb.google.com/105571967416523634859/Hollywood uses a 1.9" shellholder where the Universal 3 uses a 1.75"

I think the Junior uses a different shell holder.....

I don't know if Lyle Corcoran purposely made his shellholders different lengths or not. Are you aware that many companies made the same design shellholders at one time, and they look similar?

Here's a few:

Kevin:

Yes I have many shell holders, Hollywood, CH, and Herter's, and some unknown....

The ones that came with my Model A are longer than any other model I have, and they have to be longer, the shorter ones will not bolt into the A (too short).

Install a Model A shellholder into a Model III and the shellholder turret will not turn.

I'm not sure which one a Model B uses....

I have come across a few other small differences, in the presses I have, even between the same models (I assume different years).

I was taught to load on Hollywood's way back in the 70's....showing my age, but I was a young lad at the time,LOL

You guy's have some amazing knowledge, I think one of you should start a dedicated Hollywood thread.

I have really enjoyed reading your discussions, and restoration threads....
