I took the 15-3 out today for it's initial visit to the range and was very happy with the results. I used several different powders to include 231, Universal and HS-6 all with the 158 gr Lee 358-158 RF boolit. Had I not pulled a couple shots two of these would have been 1" groups but I knew it was me and not the gun. Moreover, there was virtually no leading with any of the loads which made me even more happy. Bullets were sized .001 over throat diameter, which was .357". I think this is going to be quite a favorite. While HS-6 did give a good group, there was unburned granules in the barrel but that may have been remedied by the use of a magnum primer. I'd have to drop back from 6 gr to 5.5 and try that next time.

My wife and her 15-3 will do that from 15yds with the Lee 148gr WC over 3gr of 700x, offhand. She makes a lot of guys mad at the shooting range when they look over :bigsmyl2:

That's the .38 for you. Accuracy, reasonable power and "shootability".
