I was wondering if some of you is using this kind of press for reloading, swaging etc.
I saw few videos and I am quite impressed.

Doesn't Jmorris have something like the first video?

Maybe he will chime in.

I have a buddy that uses the PW on his 1050 like the second video. He's had it for years and loves it.

I have one like the 2nd video. I like how the first one works but don't like the fact they ditched the primer pocket swager, makes me wonder why.

Lucky you :-)
The main point what I am interested in is somebody's DIY project blueprints.
Just to imagine know how a necessery components to be bought.

There really is not that much to it, most importantly you need to make a clutch of some sort so it can slip if something is jammed. Here is the "clutch" I did for one of my casepro machines.

It's just two split set collars that ride on a smooth shaft, you tighten them down just enough to hold during normal operation so if something abnormal happens nothing gets damaged. The little tab on the end is so the clutch doesn't move in or out on the shaft.

The other thing you will need is a gearmotor. The two used in the videos you posted are Oriental Motor brand electromagnetic brake gear motors and cost just over $600 new. You can find similar motors used on eBay for under $100 though.

Thank you sir, those are the information what I was looking for as well as detailed picture as you posted.
I need to find a local seller due to the weight of the motor which is making it expensive to be sent.

May I ask you about your motor model especially rpm and hp?

Thank you, for your posting.
I have found some usable ebay motors together with some clutch and speed control. I would like to use it for case preparation process mainly.
If I am not counting some exact made components it would cost me around 200$ to finish my DIY project.

Anybody else for contribution?

My question is would be 25W 4RK25GN-CM motor together with 4GN50K head gear sufficient for moving LEE Loadmaster ??? I honestly never though about automating a Lee but if you can measure the torque required to cycle the ram at different points on the lever arm and know what you are going to need at any given linkage "height".
