I noticed we have no forum for optics, so I'll throw this question out here since it is on a Mosin Nagant.
I have an S&K Weaver type scout scope mount on one of my 91/30's. Currently I have a Bushnell 30MM tube type red dot on it. A company called Vortex makes an affordable 3X magnifier that mounts behind them. But..., since this is a long eye relief situation, I don't know if the magnifier will allow the eye to focus there.
Do any of you fellas use one of these, and how far from the eye can you get in use?
