What is neck turning and what tools do you need to do this? I hear it improves accuracy. Can some one enlighten me on this. Thanks.

If your case necks are too thick - for example if you reformed brass to make a wildcat, or if
they are variable wall thickness, neck turning can make the the right thickness, and uniform.

Most good quality modern brass is very uniform in neck thickness, so for the great
majority of guns (true benchrest guns are probably the exception) and with good brass,
especially that made in the last 10 yrs or so, it is a waste of time, the gun will not
be capable of detecting the difference on the target.

To add to what Bill said, turning is more for uniforming neck thickness (shaving off bumps and thick spots) to aid centering the boolit/bullet in the bore and make tension uniform, when reforming often it is necessary to ream the inside of the case neck to remove excess material without cutting a step at the neck/shoulder junction with the outside-type trimmer.
