I had a cast boolit rifle silhouette match today and had some cases split. These were mild loads using either 185gr or 200gr boolits.Any suggestions??http://castboolits.gunloads.com/imagehosting/thum_48734fcc0017cf80b.jpg (http://castboolits.gunloads.com/vbimghost.php?do=displayimg&imgid=5488)http://castboolits.gunloads.com/imagehosting/thum_48734fcc0017cf80b.jpg (http://castboolits.gunloads.com/vbimghost.php?do=displayimg&imgid=5488)

first firing after reforming should be a very mild cast load (10gr of Unique or Red Dot) to fireform the cases to the rifle's chamber and then necksize the cases afterwards for your stiffer loads for the silhouette match loads.
Or anneal the first time through like others have mentioned if you have the setup to do it.
