Model 60 and "Marlin" move??

I'm looking at a nice used model 60. still has the stickers on it. What is the serial # break from when marlin "moved". I think it's older era from before the "move". Any way I can tell year of mfg from serial #. Thanks. 10 ga

My understanding is that as long as it has the New Haven address it is from before the move. As to dating a Marlin, subtract the first two digits of the serial number from 100 for the year of manufacture i.e. 13XXXXX would have been made in 1987.
