The .45 S&W in .45 Colt/36 Gauge Derringers. [Archive]

I know that these will chamber in the .45 Colt/36 Gauge Derringers, but has anyone had any practical experience with the .45 S&W (smokeless loads) in the modern Derringers chambered for the parent cartridge? It seems to me that the shorter case of the .45 S&W would be far more efficient in the shorter barrels.

Any help here?
