I am loading for a match on Sunday. Using lee tumble lube bullets coated with sandstrom coating, have had great results so far. Today my bullets are loose and falling out of the cases. I changed nothing but the brass. Do these cases need annealed? I am going nuts!

I had some brand new .30-30 brass from Remington that wouldn't hold boolits. Return it, nothing will fix it. Somebody screwed up that batch of brass.

Spray on moly, look in bullet lube section under painted bullets

Just a thought ! did you size the new brass when loading or did you skip this operation ?

Loading on a progressive reloader, so they were sized

Some brass I have found has thin walls and does not hold bullets well. Check the wall thickness on your brass and you will probably find that it is thinner than the bras that worked well for you.

I have been using mixed range brass. Mostly winchester headstamp. Will measure tommarrow
