View Full Version : Cold blue takes to brass

Most will know, others might find this of use.

Brass will darken just like steel when treated with cold blue.

thanks, i was going to use brass black. it has not worked well for me in the past,so i was glad to see your post!

I have seen "express" rear sights before, but that is thee very first "express" front sight I have laid my peepers upon. :popcorn:

Be sure you neutralize the cold blue....I would imagine GREEN would be the result if you did not.

I wonder if it will effect the structural integrity of the brass.
