I had to de-crimp alot of 223's so I broke down and bought one of the new
RCBS swag tools.

I got a 15% off code plus RCBS is running a rebate for $10 so I couldn't pass it up!
After a little fiddling to set it up I ran through 2K with no issues!

I have been using the Dillon swagger for a couple of years now and very pleased with it, and once you swage all your brass it doesn't get much use.The RCBS swagger looks and operates on the same principle as the Dillon and a little cheaper to boot. If I were in the market again for a swagger I'd probably go with the RCBS.

I bought an RCBS swage tool sometime around 1970. It doesn't get a lot of use, but when you have military crimped brass to process it can't be beat.

My original was used with a Lyman Spar-T press and I had to grind off part of the piece which pushes the case off the spud to fit the press. So last year I bought a used RCBS swager set from one of the Cast Boolits members, gave the Spar-T and first RCBS to my youngest son.

I've found that CH4Ds tool works just fine. It's also a lot cheaper than the alternatives. http://www.ch4d.com/catalog/priming/419000

I haven't run more than a thousand at a time but I can see where you'd want the Dillon tool for high volumes.

+1. I also went with CH. Does a good job and doesn't break the bank.

I got the Lyman Primer Pocket Uniformer, one piece of steel, large primer on one end and small on the other. Fits in a power screwdriver and works quickly. By far the cheapest alternative - short using a jackknife.
