Loading up some 40 cal bullets for the 40-308 and I want the core to stay put. So I applied a rather heavy cannalure groove to it and take a look at the results! Nothing new here, bullet companies been doing it for a long time. By the way the mill makes it a lot easier to section the bullet! Where you see the jacket pulling away from the core in the tip of the bullet is do to me clamping it in the mill vise.

Should hold the core in place pretty good.

Yea, I am busy. The new lathe arrived 2 days ago and I have been getting it set up and level.
The wife also wants lots of things done around the house, so my lathe time is very liminted.

I am just now starting to make the dies that have been ordered and paid for. YEA !!!!
