Has anyone tried loading cast boolits for the AR-15? If so can you share the results.
Thanks, GAP

Use the "Search" engine in the tool bar up top under where it says; Welcome GAP

You will then get an information overload. Short answer is; yes, many of us do use cast in ARs.

I have the same question, but I am looking for people with experience using Vihtavuori N110 powder.

Haven't found a lot except this page:
http://hgmould.gunloads.com/casting/223cast.htm
http://hgmould.gunloads.com/casting/223cast2.htm
http://hgmould.gunloads.com/casting/223cast3.htm

Most of the loads here use a lighter bullet though and are loaded much lighter than what I have been after, not sure these loads can cycle an AR. I wonder how high I can go with N110, testing with Quickload says a lot higher than the 12gr max I found in the site above, but that's not a lot to go on.

Given that mihecs new mold has sold I think a lot of us are now looking for load data for the 223 and 65gr bullets. I know one guy in the group buy thread got a great load at 2440fps with the mihec molds, no idea what his powder was though. I'd like to reach 2400 or 2500fps in order to make the required power factor so I can use it for IPSC.

I have the mould but won't get around to casting or testing for several months. I'm expecting M193 accuracy (2-3 moa) out of my 12" twist AR at 2300 - 2400 fps with AA4350, RL19 or RL22. I am getting that now with the 60 gr 225462 cast.
