NGD! Ruger 96/44

Can't wait to shoot it. She's in near perfect condition. What a nice little gun. I do wish it had a less curved butt plate and some checkering, but it sure is light and handy.

The wide throat and short magazine gives some reloaders fits.
Mine likes the 265 Ranch Dog @ .431 and works well at the ranges it was intended.

I really like mine, I'm sure you will like yours. Kicks more than you would think but nothing you can't get used to.

Here's an updated photo. Re-shaped the stock a bit by tacking some thickness off the forearm and cheek area, put on a pad to lengthen LOP to about 14.35" and installed a Leupold Vari-X III 1.5-5X20mm. 44853
