I have some cast Saeco 300gn boolits that I'd like to try in my Rem. RB with a 1-18 twist 30" Badger barrel. Like to see how it would do at 200Mtr. Silhouette.
I have Goex 2F, 3F, and Ctge; Also have Swiss !.5 to work with. Have any of you
worked with this boolit with any success? Thanks, Ringer

FWIW, It does look light to me - but just fill up the case, give the powder some compression, seat the bullet to touch the lands and shoot it - your rifle will tell you soon enough whether it likes the bullet... Just make sure to use enough powder!

I shoot 215gr. semi wad cutters out of my 40-70SS. I like using Swiss 1.5,.30 LDEP wad, lubed felt wad for filler.Use the felt wad to help keep the powder charge reasonable with a short bullet.
Light cast bullets make good off hand shooting, my loads are good out to the chicken line.
