CCI Blazer

Been a lot of talk here & on Group Buy about this stuff so here's what it did for me. Top photo, 20 shots & bottom photo, 5 shots. Both at 50 yards from bench.

Was it the CCI or the Federal made CCI?

CCI has a black colored bullet. Federal made CCI has a light grey coloered bullet.

I had similar results a few weeks ago with 2 10 shot 100 yd groups from my T Bolt. One was 2" and the other 2 3/4" with the bulk CCI blazer.

Dark colored bullets. The back of the box says:

I placed a Small Bore Chicken at 44 steps & from the bench the Marlin hit it every shot, zero misses.

From what I have seen, the darker colored bullets are made by CCI. I have had better luck with these out of 6 differant 22's. The only way to tell which one is made by who is to look at the lot #. I think if it starts with a #, it if made by Federal. If it starts with a letter it is made by CCI.
