I like the sounds of the RCE press with the 7/8-14 threaded ram vs. the Corbin with the 5/8-24 threads. I don't know the physics but it seems like I would be able to hold down a automatic ejector better with the 7/8-14 threads.

Here is a threaded adapter I made for a customer. Should work perfect I would think. I may pick up a sea grit press myself. It would be easy to secure an automatic ejector under the large lock ring! I threaded the 7/8-14 adapter for 1/2-20 tpi so I can easily offer threaded base punches for any future dies this customer may wish to use.

Good shooting and Swage On!

How much? I'm interested. Then I wouldn't need your ejector for the RCBS press. Let me know!

Looks Good Brian. Neat thing with Corbins, Both of them is their presses doesn't need an external ejector its built in the press. If you were to start thinking upside down. The punch going where the die goes. then another punch going up through the die that is screwed into the ram. A block of steel inserted in the ram when you lower the handle on the press it pushes what is in the die out.

notice the large round part with a hole in it that is your ejector punch it sets inside the ram of the seagirt and walnut hill press.

Do you have the boat tail die for the 224? Is that the extra die in your set?

So basicaly we would attach the ejector to your RCE press via this addapter of mine to allow you to use the RCE press with the improved CH dies rather then use the RCBS press?

That would be a good idea. I need to order some more steel for the base of the ejector since all the ones I have are currently drilled for 1" holes.

This first addapter I sent to a customer to try out and see how well it will work. I haven't got any feed back yet but expect to soon. In your guy's opinion does it look like it is long enough to cover teh distance between top of RCE ram and base of top plate to allow use of CH style dies?

I have the Walnut Hill Press and your adapter looks long enough to me - but the press might need to be put into Re-loading mode versus Swaging mode.
