I put some gas checks on Lyman #429244 bullets.
They were sized to .4315 --throats are .432
The bullet is a nice snug fit but the check needs the pressure from a pencil
to push it through the throat.
Will these screw up the throats when shot, will they stay on ?
Should I hold off till I can get a little smaller sizing die and re-size them.
They go through with a little push. The bottom of the check goes OK but the top half is the offender.
Should I anneal the gas checks, Or is all OK
Sorry I need to learn this revolver stuff.
