DH; I put about 20 jacketed and 50 cast through it and it is a keeper. You can turn the safety breech ring off these and they are std 98 configuration fully chambered, I torqued the barrel up, bolt closed with no resistance on Go gage on a stripped bolt, bolt would not close on NO GO, perfect.:) I will slug it when I get time, internal finish looked really nice and shiny, they come wrapped in the "wax paper" and heavy cosmoline coat, only regret is I didn't order two or three.

Thank you, Thank you! I just ordered one. I have a nice numbers matching M48, but I can see the cleaning rod wear at the crown.

Then I thought, Hmmmmmm...are my 8mm Max boolits going to have to be seated much deeper with the new barrel? Probably. Oh well, I wouldn't contour one for $55, so I will be grateful to get it, and it has provenance, if the advertising is true.

I will deal will OAL issues when the time arises. I might just throat the new barrel, if necessary.
