I got tired of a .44 mag and decided to sell it. So, I carted it off to my local dealer who agreed to sell it for me. At lunch today I saw him and he said he was holding some money for me. Walking into his shop, I expected to pick up the money and decide later what to invest it in.

Wouldn't you know it, a stainless 7.5" .41 redhawk was sitting in the case screaming at me "Take me home, Take me home!!!" Can you believe it, the money never made it into my hands. At least it was well spent.

Greetings
Never had a Redhawk but many Blackhawks in caliber .41 mag . Fine caliber and I dought you will notice any difference between the two calibers. But Welcome to the .41 mag family.

I prefer shooting full house loads in my S&W model 57, a lot better than shooting full house
loads in a 44 mag. Full house .41 loads are easily controllable. I started shooting the .41 back
in 1968. The Ruger BH 4 5/8" was my first handgun. It's a great cartridge.
If the 41 mag will not stop it, I wouldn't bet my life on a 44 mag.

I have three 41's a SS Redhawk, Blue Blackhawk and Nickel Smith 57

You found a rear one as the Redhawk was produced for one year only.

I stumbled across a blackhawk when I was a teenager, already had a .44. The thing was too cheap to pass up on so I bought it, loved it ever since. That revolver still is in my safe today along with a desert eagle in the same chambering. Don't see myself getting rid of either anytime soon. Will do virtually anything a .44 mag will do w/o beating you up as much. Doesn't have that shreakish muzzle blast of a .357. It's odd, I have almost exactly the same opinion of the 10MM. How do you guys keep finding those redhawk 41s and .357s?

Got one of the "Hunter" Redhawks in 41 mag and just plain love it.
It actually gets quite boring hitting targets at 100 yards with it.

Got a blued 5.5" Redhawk .41. Sweet to shoot, with either the "police" load or full throttle". Got it for $450, and no I wasn't wearing a mask. 8)
