I contacted randyrat about his zip lube which works great and also asked about using his TAC for a muzzleloader lube. He has not tried his lube in ML's a lot but wanted to give it a test run. Randyrat made up a batch of his TAC extra soft and sent it to me. I got the. 54 cal 430 grain TC maxi balls pan lubed and ready to shoot. I wish I could tell ya how well the lube worked under fire but my still unborn grandson wanted to mess with grandpa's shooting and everyone elses day, Mom has been in labor for 12 hours.

Below are a few pics of how well the lube filled in the groves. Note the unlubed bullets is a 500 and something grain bullet I had laying around and not exactly like the lubed ones but close enough. I had all the bullets lubed before I thought of a before and after pic. As you can see my cutter is very high tech. Hope to shoot them next week.

Yep Mom was in labor for 24 hours but finally Rylan made his entrance.

I made it out last Friday to shoot a few, this time mother nature decided to dump 5 gallon buckets of water on my head. I did get a few rounds down range but conditions were not good for proper testing. I did find the lubed bullets easy to load, lube held up great in transport and handling, and powder fouling was very light after 5 shots. Card board target was soaked and fell out of the holder after 5shots. So we will see what this Friday holds. I drew a Muzzle loader tag so the hunt is on.

Please be nice we are talking about TAC soft and how it works for MUZZLE LOADING/ BLACK powder.
It is my little tiny spot in the big world to talk about my TAC soft lube.

There is a bunch of testing going on as we speak. Very promising so far.
Would you like to test TAC soft
