Thanks Hang Fire and Multigunner for these posts. Now I can see how my rifle works. John Garand sure had a bunch of thinking on his part to design this rifle. I can see how the parts work in relationship to each other. I had no idea that the clip ejector was contained in the trigger housing group. BC

These are great teaching tools. I am pretty familiar with my M1, or at least I thought I was.

There is alot of stuff going on inside one of those guns. Alot more than I knew about!

The one thing I had no clue about was being able to recock the gun with the trigger guard after a missfire. Had no idea!

Pretty cool stuff and thanks for posting it.

I now see why it took Garand 10 years to design this thing.

You must have drawn a bad ad. I got "Airbeds R Us." Still ads on youtube suck, Political ads are the worst as they are all BS! Especially about him! There is no up side to that guy.
