Does anyone have a source for someone who could make a higher front sight for a Springfield Trapdoor? I would really like to take a deer with mine, but with the original sight, guesstimating holdunder is too risky for a clean kill.
Thanks.

I made aluminum inserts to calibrate for different loads. Just slip the pin out and drill the hole in the sight and put the pin back in.

i use old brass keys to make front sight blades.

That one is much easier than most, due to the blade being flat stock pinned in. If you
are at all handy, drive out the pin and make a new blade.

If you don't know how to calculate the added height, give me the distance between the
front and rear sight, the range you are shooting at, and how much change in elevation
you want and I'll calculate the change in sight height.
