Made 68 of the 370gr Maxiballs today with the new Lyman mold that arrived from Midsouth in only 4 days, and most importantly, on my birthday! :p
One gorgeous casting mold and i had ZERO bad bullets!
All bullets are within 2.5 grains of each other which is amazingly good. I don't think you can get much better than that?
I tried one in my CVA Wolf and they fit like a glove! No short starter needed at all. I will get some Alox and lube them with that and then use a veg wad with them and around 80-90gr Blackhorn209.
Will get some pictures.
With this new mold and a new Lee pot on the way, I finally have things going right and making it easier on my self.
Now to set up the sand buckets!
