Need some load data for this boolit. A Lee 240gr swc. Thanks in advance.

My old Lyman manual shows for max loads---240 grain cast

8.5 Unique 1,058 FPS
17.5 2400 1,169 FPS
18.5 IMR4227 1,097 FPS

I have a Model 57 and the same Lee Mold--I haven't used it in years.

I think Accurate Arms has some too - hogdons' might have some - as well as Beartooth load data
AA#9 will be about the same as the 2400 load

i have the same mold but have not loaded any yet, and that little mold cast some nice boolits. how did you lube them? they look real good.

I have been pleasantly surprised at how well Bullseye has shot in both my Blackhawk and Contender for moderate and low velocity loads. 6 to 8 gr depending on what I intend to be shooting at.

I had that same mold and they shot well. The only drawback is most of the boolit is in the case and reduces powder capacity.
My 41 is a SBH Hunter stainless so the cylinder in not fluted. I was experimanting with Lil' Gun and pushed that boolit to over 1,400 fps. The cases just started to expand to the case walls and primers were still rounded, but I ran out of powder room. Pressures were probably high anyway.
It did shoot accurately up to about 1,300 fps then went to heck, so I backed the charge down and inverted a gascheck in the mouth and seated it with the boolit. At just over 1,400 fps accuracy was still under 2" at 25 yards.
I don't recommend anyone trying this, especially with a standard Blackhawk.

I made a dummy round and crimped in the first lube groove and it still chambers in my bisley. Have you tried this?
