Hey guys,

Background info: During our back and forth emails with an o-ring seller on ebay, I suggested that she market some smaller packets as kits, so that people wouldn't have to buy a 5 packs of 100 o-rings each in order to finish a project which only required a couple of each.

Somehow the subject of o-rings in guns came up and she asked me to test fit a couple to an AR-15 extractor spring. It's the -005 size that fits perfect. Here's a link to the o-rings that fit:

The buna-N is a good gasket material which resists oils and solvents, so it would last quite a while before needing replacement. Here's a link of the specs and another company that specializes in o-rings: http://www.marcorubber.com/material_chart.htm

LOL. I just found out what midwayusa is selling ONE of these for: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/322189/pri-extractor-o-ring-ar-15-223-remington-68mm-remington-spc
$3.99 apiece!

Hope this helps someone!

Andy.
