thin old army grips

I am looking for a set of thin grips for my old army, I have small hands. I can not afford $50 or $60 for a set, I have to get by on SS. any one know where I can get a set? no way I could slim mine down, I have trouble putting a point on a pencil.thanks guys

Sorry to hear of your troubles Ed. Are you referring to a Ruger Old Army? If so you might contact PvtSchultz from the Ruger Forum. He might modify yours for you or help out some. Seems decent to work with. Here's a link to his Site:
