just like the title says im looking to make a hammer swage but heres the catch its for a .55 boys ATR being in canada i can have such things freely :-)

any way my first idea was to use a 1/2" coper pipe cap (.705" od) size it down to
.562" and swage it to shape and then use a .50 bmg AP bullet as a core

the other idea is to use .300 saum or .300 wsm brass and bump it up to .562 and use it for a jacket

im looking for a bullet in the 650gr to 750gr bullet in the end

WOW! You need a lot of powder to spin 750gr bullets!

NO you don't. I shoot 700 grain bullets all the time in my S&W .500 Magnum.
Easy as pie!

Myyyy, I do like the looks of the gun, but really, I'm afraid to fire one!
Besides I don't find targets here in my end that warrants a .500! lol!

The Boyes is fun to shoot - not as much recoil as you would think - but one hell of a muzzle blast! The brake is very effective.
Last time I shot one it was $20 per round.
