Super-Moon Saturday

Just heard on the news..... This Saturday will be the largest moon of the year. Here in my part of the world we will have pretty thick cloud cover, so I may or may not get to see it all, but none the less my family will be at the ranch seeing about a full moon piggy. I mounted an infra-red laser on my TC Super 14 308 and will be trying this with night vision. Hopefully this turns into a great way to pistol hunt with night vision for some of those more illusive field destroyers.

Good luck to ya! Those rascals are intelligent and it seems that night hunting is sometimes the only way to get them When my buddy had some acreage in Sommerville, TX., we would bait spots and hunt them at night. That was one of the best times to get them.

I have hunted them by spotlight near Abilene, Tx. Their eyes do not reflect as well as other animals that prowl the night.
