In a local paper there is a sears and roebuck model 100.
The add claims it is a winchester, does anyone know when sears quit selling the M 100.

I don't have a date they stopped selling it but it does say it's a win mod NM94 in my reference book.

The nm94 would be post 64 wouldn't it. I am just curious as the asking price is 250 and it has a camo paint job. I am thinking it is a little overpriced.

I don't know about the condition of the rifle--camo paint does'nt sound too thrilling to me and it could be intended to hide all manner of sins--but assuming it is good condition, 250 is a tad on the cheap side. They are about on a par with the later Winchester Rangers as far as quality goes, and the last two I saw were both higher priced, well over 300$. Hereabouts, 94's go for at least 375, and more like 475 for a really clean one.
