If you listen to Veral, he states that a WFN or WLN has a meplat that is .090" less than bore diameter. The LFN is .120" less.

All I ever see quoted is meplat percent, which keeps the nose proportional to the bore.

So, being a thinker, I wonder why veral sticks with his measurement?

And I read this the other day:

Veral uses a pattern tracing lathe to make his molds. He does not cut them with a cherry. This allows him to accurately and easily create mold cavities of different sizes. You may buy a 44 cal bullet from him of any diameter you wish and the nose will be .090 smaller than the dia of your bullet. A .430 bullet will have a .340 nose and a .432 bullet with have a .342 nose.
