The title and photo give you most of the info. I bought these before I did any casting at all for a NEF Handi-rifle. Now I'm looking to put them through my 336A with Ballard rifling. From what I've read they're likely too small. (I don't have any soft lead to slug with, but maybe some 358 boolits cast from stick ons will do for slugging) What do ya think?

Where's the picture?

OK now you can see what I'm talking about.

I cut open a 12GA OOB shell for slugging 30-32 caliber bores. Need to smack the pellet on an anvil with a hammer to size the .32 bores though. Looks like a fun plinker boolit if they're not cast too hard.

Load 7 1/2 grains of Unique under them to see what happens.

All you can do is try, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I have a big white box full of them I picked up in deal. Have not tested and been a while since I touched them. What about paper patching them and push at .311" ? Gtek

For paper patching you would need to remove the lube and size to around .302 before patching, IMHE.

I've got 2400 and universal clays. I'm thinking 5-6 gr of the clays but have no experience with reduuced loads and rifle cartriges.

i have that mold.
it ummm suc,err blo it kinda makes okay paper patch booliits.
i even tried putting a gas check on it which helped a little.
the nose even with 4/6/90 alloy only made 298.
i really need to find someone to send it to, to be re-cut into an 8mm mold.

I bought a box of those same boolits from Midway once. I tried lots of different loads with no joy at all, until I started using fillered loads. I use Cream 'o' Wheat here, but in a more humid climate BPI shot buffer would be better. Using 23 gr. IMR 3031 or 19gr. 4198 plus enough COW to make a compressed load they would shoot a 4 inch group at 200M with zero bore leading. That ended up being my cowboy silhouette load for a while until they ran out. I still shoot bare bottom boolits for that game with filler, no need for gaschecks at all. BTW, they were/are running around 1800 fps.

I had some did not like them as is. BUT if you run them through a lubrisizer and put on a gas check the bevel will accept the gas check and it is tight. SO I put gas checks on all the ones I had left.

Since I can't get a mold from RanchDog till November I ordered 200 TLC311 165 RF boolits sized at .311 from Carolina Cast Bullets . I think the bunch I got from Master Cast will just have to feed the lead pot.
