OK, I've done the search and read all posts that came up.

Can anyone give me more info on this mold and it's cast boolit?

A friend has just picked one up at an auction.

Can it be used in a 44WCF (44-40) or is the nose too long? Wouln't seem so.
Is the nose blunt enough to use in a lever guns tubular magazine?

It seems that people have unsucessfully searched for years for this mold, I may have to Beg, Borrow, or Steal for this mold just to own it, Of course I have it in my possesion for research purposes and I hear that possesion is 9/10 th of the law![smilie=w:

I also searched for years and gave up !

Right before Bruce at BRP shut down he made me a custom 4-cavity duplicate with modified lube grooves!
Beautiful mold and outstanding target bullets for .44Special and .44 Russian! :) :)

#2 son has one and I cast a few and loaded them in the .44 Mag.

429106 175.2 grains 2400 12.5 gr 854 FPS 14.2 SD

Now, I didn't dwell on this bullet as it wasn't my mould. With this load, ignition was poor and as a result accuracy was too. Powder was too slow.

With some WW231 in either the .44 Special or .44 Mag it should do all right for a light bullet./beagle
