This is for .357 mag rifle. 180gr round flat nose. These drop at .356 to .357 depending on which cavity it comes from. It is a 4 cavity steel mold. If they dropped at .358, that would be hunky dory. I would pan lube them and load them. I can get great bullets from this mold un-beagled. I add 1/8" wide aluminum tape to each side of each cavity and one stip across the bottom and the mold will not throw an un-wrinkled bullet. Take the tape off and it is throwing good un-wrinkled bullets, just undersized.

Any ideas? would Saeco resize the cavities? Is there anybody on castboolits that does this?

Your using to much tape closing up the vent lines so trapped air is causing the wrinkles.
You only need boolit length pieces of tape at both ends of the mold(on one half only) and maybe a short piece in the middle between cavities 2 and 3, nothing along the bottom of the mold.

There someone on this board that opens up molds but I can't remember who.
