Got back from a 4 day black powder shoot. We shot a lot of pistols.I cleaned
my guns up at the shoot every day, but not the clean up to put away kinda
deal.

Well today I'm doing the big clean. But I find I'm getting a little lead fouling
at the base of the barrel, where the balls enter from the cylinder.Any good
lead fouling stuff I can use to remove this?

Fly, Ed's Red, Kroil, Marvel Mystery Oil, WD-40, etc. on a bore brush or tight patch will work, but so will any of these on a Chore Boy copper pad (Make sure it's really Cu!) cut apart and wrapped around a bore brush. Bronze wool is good too if you can get it.

amazon.com has em for about $2 each, or $1 if you want 36 of em.

Be sure it's the copper scrubbers.
