Just finished Leementing all my Lee molds. Just received my RD .359 190gr mold today. Should I Leement it as well?

How does it cast? Let the mold tell you what work it needs.

Cast with it first. Check the diameter of the dropped bullets and then decide if it needs to be LEEmented.

I just got a lee 358-158-rf, throws pretty nice boolits. I just need to deburr one half of one cavity and I will be good to go.

never mess with something you aren't familiar with.
that goes for cars, cows, machines, and horses.
for some reason nobody told me that about girls when i was younger.

Thanks for the replys. I planned on casting with it first.

Granted I've only been casting for a year, but I'm pretty familiar with Lee molds. Just wanted to know if the Ranch Dog molds were treated any different. Wish this was offered in a two cavity mold. I've had great success with them.

Tried out my new Danch Dog mold yesterday. Drops all six bullets with a shake of the handles and drops them at .360-.361.

so you found that you don't need to mess with it.

I received my 1st RD mold, the 314-70 grainer, and it absolutely does NOT need Leementing. Boolits practically leap out of the mold, once it is up to temperature. It was definitely worth the extra cost compared to other Lee molds I've owned.

I've got the 359-190RF and the 311-165-RF. Didn't have to do a thing to either of them other than preheat them well. Then applied Bullplate and casted happily ever after.
