I thought there was someone on this forum who repairs Weaver scopes. Did I dream that or is it so?
There are a couple of Weaver repair sites but they have a 12-14 month wait.
Thanks, malcolm

That's an awful long time. Won't Weaver fix them??
Is this a vintage Weaver??

The scope is a V 1.5-4.5x. The last time I had it on a rifle everything inside the scope would become distorted during recoil. It always goes back to normal after each shot. Still, this is not normal and I would like to get it repaired. Weaver says they will not repair the older scopes.

Only one I recall is that Ironsites outfit.
There is an outfit "Parson's Scope Repair" that does a good job with scope repairs. Have to GOOGLE them.
There was a Weaver Scope repair service in El Paso, I believe somehow got most of the stuff from the old Weaver factory when it closed. Found a return tag from them. Weaver Scope Repair Service 1121 Larry Mahan Suite B El Paso Texas 79925 Ph 915-593-1005. Havent used their service in quite a few years but they did good work and had the parts I needed everytime. Hope this helps.

I might be wrong, but I think that the Ironsites outfit purchased the inventory from the company in El Paso. I used to live there. Visited them occasionally. I have an old K-6 that needs to be repaired, too.
