Found these cleaning out a garage some kind of weight seem like lead, lady thinks they are valuable? I doubt they have much more than dollar a pound or so value but any idea what they are? Checkweights?

Try:
cutting a sliver off with a knife
denting it with your fingernail
dropping it on the concrete

If it's soft enough to dent and makes a thud when dropped, then it's probably pure lead.

better ask her first , he he looks like lead,
do a muriatic acid test on the bottom to see if it is zinc.it will bubble if it is , also it is much harder than lead if in the pure state , my guess is its lead , just by the color ..

Scratches with fingernail, just wasnt sure of value as a weight or what type?
