Just see a 225107 mold on ebay,,,,,current bid is 222 bucks,with a few hours to go,,,,,,,,,,,,,

What in the world is so special about this mold?? People gone crazy????

Yup, I've been watching that one too, just to see how stupid the price gets on it--kind of like the Lee REAL mold I saw a while back that finished at over $75... One of these days I'd like to pick up a nice .225 mold, but I can design one and have it cut for half that price. Nutz---just plain nutz...

where do you get one cut for that price?i figure 32.50 for a special cut mold ?or are you talking about the 222.00 mold that i understand ..

It used to be an "unobtanium" mold until Al cut them for a group buy a couple of years ago. If you shoot a Hornet or Bee with a 16" twist, you'll understand why this mold is like gold.

I'm figuring half of the $220 mold. NEI has half a dozen .224 designs available, and if I really wanted to go all out, the custom cherry option is always there--if'n I ever get a wild hair to jump into a group-buy plan. $220 for a mold unseen just seems a little silly, but it IS Ebay, so it's no surprise. It "might" be someone who really wants THAT mold, but I'd venture a guess it's mainly just because it's a .225-something. Those always go through the roof.
