Grizcty's (chris) wife had to be rushed to the emergency room which is 200 miles away. They found she had a major infection in her thigh that had gotten into the bone. The Dr's had to remove her femur and alot of infected tissue in the pelvis and thigh. When she came out of surgery she stopped breathing and they had to put her on a respirator in ICU. Chris had to shut his store down to be with his wife. He has been living out of his truck in the Hospital parking lot with no funds to support himself. I don't have money but I will offer up a small flat rate box of 45 ACP bullets from my H&G # 68 mold ( about 500 bullets ) you can size them any size you like.

I spoke with Chris last night.
Marie is still in ICU , and after a second surgery, they have taken her off the ventilator. She is still hooked up to a lot of IV's and they had to put a Catheter in her Heart. The Infection has attacked her Liver, kidneys, chest cavity , etc. but she seems to be fighting as hard as she is able to . She is opening her eyes and trying to speak in whispers, but she is heavily sedated, but she is responding to words and touch.
Chris is holding up well and still camped in the Hospital parking lot with his dog , and stays right By her side as much as he can. He said to Thank everyone for all the support and asked that we keep the prayers going because she is not out of the woods yet.

Marie is Now in primary care , out of ICU , But not out of the woods yet. She is talking now some but she is in and out with the Pain meds/ Morphine . So far she is stable and as comfortable as they can make her. She is fighting the infection and her will is strong and the Prayers are sure a blessing she said when Chris told her we were all praying for her and him.
I received several letters today with donations as well as 750.00 from Andy collected by him on paypal from our members here.
All were deposited in his account and Chris thanks you from the bottom of his Heart and said He is Humbled and Your Generosity has touched him deeply, since he is used to helping others , and never expected this.

If you havent donated yet and can , please help with whatever you can afford.
100% goes directly to them to help and ...if you know how to do fundraising and can help, My door is always open . They have a Long road ahead of them.

The Bears are out now so it is spring Bear Season for Both Black and Grizzly right now. Here in Unit 13 it is open season year round for 1 Grizz and 3 Black Bears, for both Residents and Non-residents. Non-residents Must use a Registered Guide for Grizz. Come and get em...

Marie is still hooked up to IV's and drains and the Doctors are holding off doing surgery for now to see if the antibiotics will do what they want and because she is so weak. She is asking for food , so an appetite is a good sign in my opinion. The MRI showed more pockets of infection in her leg Tissue so we are still praying for her, and Chris is still camped out in the parking lot, and close to her. Thank You all for any help and prayers , and Marie was very touched when Chris told her what we were doing. She Cried and said Thank you all for your Kindness and prayers...

You're kinda new over here but I'm sure Ken and Staff have briefed you in on how we take care of our own around this place.

We're gun-owners and we're boolit-casters, but above all, we're citizens and neighbors spun from the "old cloth" that built this country. When one of us hurts, we all hurt a little bit and do what we can to help. Be it money, physical assistance or prayers (most powerful of all, often times), we're in.

Glad to hear she's showing improvement--and appetite is a big sign.

Hello folks, I finally made it home.
Opened the store, for the long weekend.
Will try to see if I can sell some of the inventory
Before heading back to the hospital, next week.

WOW, big changes since I left.
As we had 3-4' of snow on the ground, now it is 95% gone!
Spent the day trying to do some outside clean up/yard work, between snow flakes/raindrops. As I was booted out of the store, by Marie's best friend & helpers. Who told me, that the store needed a "old fashioned spring cleaning". These ladies even cleaned my coffee pot!
Note to self, learn to stay out of the way of Church Lady's with dusters, cleaners & broom!

As for Marie, she is currently in stable condition.
They have her in a special orthopedic air bed, along with air leggins & big blue boots.
She doesn't want to eat much food, even though she is hungry, due to using the bedpan.
But is eating a little bit of regular food. And is being made to drink Ensures. (YUCK)
Thank goodness, the blood transfusions have stopped.
She is being given potassium by IV every hour. Along with antibiotics & pain meds, and heparin shots & others.
They are trying to do physical therapy on her, to strengthen her back up.
The old Doctor decided to remove 4 drains, to see what is going to happen. (on vacation)
Now her new Doctor just ordered, new follow up ct scans??
Hell bells, I don't understand what is what right now!

Mooseman gave me a surprise visit last night.
And I am absolutely blown away.
By the love, concern, & generosity, of the Cast Boolits membership.
I have to admit, I cried tears of gratitude, after he left.
I want to personally/publically, thank Andy & Mooseman for setting this up.

I called Marie, and before we prayed together.
I read her every comment, you wonderful folks have posted.
She/we cried together from the out pouring of love & kindness, you have given us.
We can not express our thanks enough.
She said to tell you she loves you all! (I do too)

We are so grateful & humbled, for what you folks have done for us.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts!

This may sound dumb, but I can honestly say.
As I have told members here, on the phone.
That we can actually feel, the power of your prayers!

PS : I do need to explain why I have not posted before this.
The hospital has a website filtering system.
This system monitors every website you click on.
When I would go to the CB site. It would let me load the page.
Then with in a minute or so, it would close and a blue screen would appear.
This page would have something to the effect of: Network error Weapons related - not allowed.
So I have not been able to reply until I got home.
