Recently obtained a Nice Lyman 358318 Factory HP to use in my 358 Win.

Couldn't resist it, had to get out yesterday and cast a few with it. Last night I loaded some up. Will head to the range in a few days and try them out.
They are casting .362 on the bands with a nose of .352.

My rifle shoots the RCBS 200 35 cal. g/c real well, but because of the nose style ( meplat ) it doesn't feed very well. Hopefully this nose style will feed better.....We'll see ? ?

Thanks,
Ben

Ben,

I use that exact boolit in my .35 Winchester. It shoots great and makes a very satisfying explosion with a water-filled 2-liter PET bottle.

I looked yesterday for the 1st time at load data for the 35 Win. , it is a very potent cartridge.

I have that same mould and have anice load worked up for my NEF in 357 Maximum.

I am hoping I can get it to work for me at 2400+/- in my 358 Winchester.

At 2400 fps that would be a very potent load.
