Loading 45lc with 45 schofield?

I have new brass
I have access to 45 schofield dies
Do you guys think I could load a few with these dies?

Yes. I think it may take a little adjusting but should be just fine.

Load 1 and see. Don't load 50 and see...

Should be fine as long as you remember to set the die out the extra 1/8". I loaded up Marlin 40-60's with Winchester 40-60 dies when I first started and just had to remember to set it out. I've also loaded .357 Mag using .38 special dies. ;)

I've tried it and it works. As I recall, it requires a larger shellholder than the .45 Colt. As I recall, I used a #4 RCBS but it worked./beagle
