Anyone handload using the RCBS .257-120-SP for .25-35? I was considering using trail boss but I read somewhere that people were having trouble with keyholing.
If you have tried this boolit for a .25-35, what COL did you use and what powder?

Wow I am surprised no one has tried this combination?

I have tried it without much success in mine. Now, I'm shooting it in a 1-10 Douglas barrel on a 336 frame and that's a pretty long bullet for my twist. If you're shooting a standard winnie with a 1-8 twist, it should do well./beagle

I've had pretty good luck shooting jacketed 117gr bullets using varget powder but I am a little hesitant to try such a slow burning powder in a CB even if it is 3 gr. heavier.
I am thinking of trying H4895.
