View Full Version : WW II Normandy vet died today

My grandsons other grandpa died today, Mr.Vega was a Normandy landing veteran, he was a pretty quite guy, we used to chat while watching Justin play either baseball or football. Justin was with him as he passed, one of lives bitter lessons, I hope he is at my side when I make that crossing.
So long Mr. Vega you were a great man and a real hero in our life time.

For years on the anniversary of the D Day landings the local TV both here and the mexican stations out of TJ would interview him about the landings. He was a proud old soldier.
