No, I'm not shilling for Sportman's Guide. I just buy stuff.
I just got their new catalog, and they're selling the Mauser 1912 barrels for $50, and they have the stocks for $27.
I don't know their origin, could be Austrian ... could be Chile. :cry:
I've bought from Numrich, and I got to say it's been 50/50. Half the times the parts were very good, the other half the "new" parts were worse than my bad ones.
I've got a bent 1890 that I'd stick one of these barrels on, if'n I could. It would be kewl to have the old 88 pattern in 308, and buy a couple dozen pounds of that blue plastic practice ammo to play with.
