Leemented my first mold.

I Leemented my latest mold today. It's C309-150-F. It drops right at .311 which my Glenfield 3081 really likes. Anyways I really had to smack it to get the bullets to drop. So I had a buddy at work drill and tap one of my bullets on a lathe. Ran it in each cavity for about 30- 45 seconds in a drill with it coated in JBs bore paste and WOW, what a difference. Most of the time I just shake it or give it a very light tap or they just fall right out. Oh, and no smoking the mold either! Will be doing three more molds tomorrow.

Really makes a difference doesn't it ?

I do it with molds other than Lee also. Haven't seen one yet that didn't improve the release of the bullets.

I did that awhile back, turned me into a believer real fast. Now I look at those cheap aluminum molds in a whole new light.

i have used Remington Bore Cleaner it works great

I now use white polishing compound I got from a jeweler. It comes in a solid bar, I shave a little off, mix in some Kroil and make a paste from it. Inside of molds look like mirrors.
