I got this rifle because I liked it and it was there a good price. Unfortunately it had been bubba'd but no matter, it still looks almost military. The bayonet lug bit of barrel had been cut off but at least they did a good crown job.

I want an 'in battle dress' target rifle and this one has the micro adjust sights so it's destiny is decided. Since the bit of barrel that would have otherwise held the scope is gone, I'm going to set the sight back and fit an over-barrel suppressor like in the mock up. My theory is that while there never was such a configuration in battle, no one will know (or care). Sight graduation won't match boolit drop but the trajectory will be different anyway.

I do plan to build a turn knob windage adjustable fore-sight. Any ideas would be appreciated. I do want it to resemble a battle sight though. The top wood doesn't exist - I created it using Paint.
