Now I just have to put it all back together!

Good time to install a 26# mainspring, and do a bit of sear work while I am at it. Even got a set for one of my SBH's(just have to decide which one to put them on).

They are holly and yes much better than the rubber grips it came with. I actually made a ragged looking set of wood grips right off the bat and never fired it with the rubber grips.

In the top picture, is that a SBH grip set compared to the BFR set?

If so, that's quite a size difference.

I held a .500JRH with the white MR grips fitted to it today at the NRA show. I liked it! But I fear for my knuckle...

The other set is for a SBH, but it is the camera making it look that way. Here is the actual size difference which isn't much at all.

Very nice. I like light wood myself. What caliber is that BFR?

Very nice!
Wish I had the skills to make a couple myself for my .444.

bigsmyl2::I see you remembered how to put them back together and they are looking fabulous. When should I ship mine down for some grips bigsmyl2::

Oh.... well I can make some, but they don't look like these!

Seems simple enough to just remove all the wood that isn't grips from the block. Somehow, it gets a bit more complicated along the way :bigsmyl2:
