The boolit in that pic is a 45 cal flat base 535 grain money bullet which I know the walnut hill press will handle. This time I am asking about a Minnie ball which has a bigger diameter and a hollow base. I wonder if the press will handle dies large enough to make this boolit

personally I would email R Corbin and ask him I have found him to be a very honest guy and won't give you a bs answer. He would know we will just give a guess.

I would say yes, they swage 50 BMG bullets on it, but talk to Richard.

The question I should have asked is if the walnut hill press will take Dave Corbin's H dies. I asked Dave himself on an e mail and he said he is not familiar with this press.

That would be negative. His dies are different enough that they will not interchange.

The dies threads are similar enough but the punch system is completely different. You'd have to create or buy a conversion. Richard Corbin makes these on occassion but they are a long wait.

RCE press ram is threaded to take dies 7/8-14
Corbin H dies 1-12 I think

RCE does makes an adapter to use Corbin M and or S dies.

The upper threads in the Walnut are standard die threads. It's the base that is the issue.

the dies and the punch holder in a Mega mite CSP2 and RCEs Hydraswage are 1.5-12tpi the walnut hill is 7/8-14tpi the threads in both ram and top are not compatible. I would also assume that the OD of the internal punch would be different too. You cannot adapt H dies to the Walnut hill you can adapt S and M dies to the walnut hill. Though its really not recommended. You can make it work but not very well. (experience talking)
